Lighting used in this shot to make the other mother's kitchen feel worm happy and welcoming. This is done by using a worm light yellow light from the light bulb.

The directer uses costume to create the other mother. At the start she is dressed like the real mother . She is wearing a white long sleeved turtle neck black leggings and red shoes. This gradually change over the course of the film. colour and lighting are important in creating the other mother.
